My name is Ms. Withrow and I will be your teacher this year as we explore life science, math and health. This is my sixth year at Boltz, fifth year teaching 7th grade Science and third year teaching Math 7/8. I am really excited to work with you!
Before I became a teacher, I worked as a Nurse Practitioner. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in nursing. I have always loved science and have always thought of becoming a middle school teacher so I am very happy to be here at Boltz.
A long time ago, I was also a Boltz student. This is a picture of me when I was in 7th grade. I went on to Fort Collins High School and then went to University of Arizona to run track. I finally graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder then went to graduate school at Seattle University.
After 20+ years of being away from Fort Collins, my family and I moved back to Colorado 9 years ago. I live with my husband, two daughters, two dogs and one cat in Old Town. It's great to be home.
When I am not in the classroom, you will find me outside running, hiking and skiing. I also love to cook and spend many hours in the kitchen making messes.
